Our Beauty Co. family is growing and we are looking for a Part-Time Hair Stylist primarily for weekends: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This Part Time role is ideal for someone who loves creating beautiful blowouts and polished styles for wedding and special events. Experience in cut and colour is an asset, but not required.

Our studio is in North Vancouver located on Lower Lonsdale. We have a great reputation and are seeking another talented Hair Stylist to keep up with our demand.

The studio has a wonderful team atmosphere and everyone is passionate and driven for success. We have increasing potential for walk-in clients as well as overflow of our existing clientele.

Pay Structure: Hourly or Commission structure pay would be available for this position.

EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES & OBLIGATIONS:

- Performing full hair services including blowouts & special event hair.
- Attending classes to keep up to date with new techniques and updating your skills, This will be provided through the Company;
- Training and educating staff on hair “tips and tricks” – providing training on different looks and styles offered at the Store with specific techniques;
- Reaching daily, monthly, quarterly targets and sales goals for services and products sold;
- Building relationships with clients in order to create customer clientele; and
- Cleaning and restocking stations when down time




- Stylist is responsible for supplying all necessary brushes, scissors, hair irons, and hair blow dryers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and live in Vancouver or surrounding
- Hair Stylist certification is considered an asset
- Deep understanding of the client consultation process
- Detail-oriented with the ability to think quick on your feet
- Strong time management skills
- Self-motivated to stay up to date on trends and techniques
- Full qualified hair kit and professional portfolio
