Support at-risk youth as a Primary Youth Worker in Ouje-Bougoumou. Utilize your social work expertise to create structured environments and intervene during students' suspension periods. This permanent, full-time position involves working closely with students in the Alternate Suspension Program.
You will collaborate with schools, parents, and community partners to aid youth participants effectively. Holding workshops and providing academic support ensures the successful reintegration of students back into school life. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual and group interventions for students
- Develop and implement effective prevention programs
- Ensure smooth daily operation of the service site
- Communicate regularly with parents and school officials
- Maintain accurate records and report outcomes
Requirements:
- College diploma in Social Work or related field
- Three to five years of relevant experience
- Experience with at-risk youth populations
- Fluency in Cree and English, French an asset
- Solid organizational and communication skills
