Join COOEC Canada in Calgary as a Piping Stress Analyst and focus on assessing piping systems for various oil and gas projects. Your expertise will enhance the safety and reliability of our pipeline operations.
This role requires a solid background in piping stress analysis, particularly using Caesar II. You will be responsible for evaluating stress on pipelines and ensuring adherence to ASME B31.1, B31.3, and CSA Z662 standards. Participate actively in projects involving refinery, SAGD, and gas treatment facilities while providing technical guidance to your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed piping stress analysis on underground and above ground lines - Assess static equipment nozzle loadings - Conduct field engineering reviews at construction sites - Collaborate on multidisciplinary documentation like P&IDs; - Select pipe supports and design technical solutions
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field - Over 10 years of experience in piping engineering - Skilled Engineer (APEGA) designation required - Experience in oil and gas and pipeline projects - Mandarin language skills are a plus
