Robert Half Canada is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established, multi-entity organization based in Surrey, BC. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a CPA who brings strong financial reporting experience along with proven experience managing an accounting team within a larger, complex corporate setting.

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, with a primary focus on financial reporting, month-end processes, and staff management across multiple entities. The successful candidate will currently be managing a team of at least four accounting professionals and be comfortable balancing technical accounting responsibilities with team leadership and ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee a team of 4+ accounting staff, including workflow management, review, coaching,



and day-to-day support.
- Manage financial reporting and month-end accounting activities across a multi-entity corporate structure.
- Review accounting deliverables and ensure reporting is completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Support the Controller with the ongoing improvement and documentation of accounting processes, procedures, and SOPs.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, and efficiencies within the accounting function.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as assigned by the Controller.
- Provide FP& A and analytical support as required, including assistance with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance initiatives.
