This position reports to the Student Retention Liaison and is responsible for planning and delivering light lunches to children in the educational program. Key tasks include cooking, modifying menus for dietary needs, and keeping the kitchen sanitized and organized.

There may also be opportunities to supervise kitchen helpers to enhance teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cook and assemble healthy lunch menu items
- Adapt meals for children with allergies
- Deliver meals daily to the school program
- Plan appropriate food portions for children
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area

Requirements:

- Preferred experience in culinary arts or food service
- Food Handlers Certification essential
- Fluency in Mi’kmaq is strongly encouraged
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
