We are a warm Calgary family looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to care for our amazing 4-year-old son. We are hoping to find someone kind, reliable, energetic, and experienced with special needs children, including support with feeding, changing, and fun, age-appropriate activities that help each day feel engaging and joyful.

This role’s hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., five days per week, because our son attends a special needs school in the mornings. In the afternoons, he attends a regular daycare, where you will join him to provide one-to-one support, connect with the teachers, and help him take part in fun activities with the other children.

It is a busy role, but also a bright, meaningful, and genuinely rewarding one.

Our son is not talking or walking yet, however he a lovely personality, is big on eye-contact, and brings a lot of joy to the people around him. He is well loved by all the children at daycare, has playdates, attends birthday parties, and continues to develop at his own pace with the support of therapists.

The right nanny will be an key part of his day-to-day world, helping him grow, build relationships, feel included, and celebrate each new step along the way.

Meal preparation will be part of the role,



along with light housekeeping tasks related to our child. We appreciate someone who is happy to jump in, keep routines running smoothly, and help create a calm, organized, and positive environment for him.

Most of all, we are looking for the right person: someone caring, patient, playful, dependable, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with special needs. A driver’s license and car are required, and mileage will be covered.
