In this position, you will assist with clerical work that includes information dissemination, complaint processing, and permit issuance. Your responsibilities will involve operating RCMP applications, collecting fees, and preparing records related to community and law enforcement activities.
The role requires independent judgment while engaging with the public and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CPIC and RCMP applications for information management
- Take reports and process complaints received at the front counter
- Collect fees and manage financial records accurately
- Prepare reports and maintain essential files related to permits
- Provide assistance and explanations regarding rules and procedures
Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 and relevant commercial courses
- Familiarity with RCMP policies and contemporary office procedures
- Ability to type accurately at 45 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Must obtain RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance
