Become a Stationary Engineer dedicated to green initiatives at our facility. This in office role focuses on monitoring systems, managing equipment, and enhancing environmental outcomes.
This position requires a Stationary Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience. You will manage hydro, thermal, and nuclear power plant operations while also instructing apprentices and developing safety procedures. Contributing to environmental preservation and helping Canada meet its net-zero targets is a critical part of this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain station records, logs, and reports • Instruct apprentices in operational procedures • Investigate and resolve equipment problems • Monitor plant systems for malfunctions • Operate automated control systems in power plants
Requirements: • Stationary Engineer 'B' certification required • WHMIS and Forklift Operator certifications • 2-3 years of relevant experience • Experience with ammonia refrigeration and boilers • Ability to handle up to 50 lbs
