This role reports to the Supervisor of Cash Applications and demands a keen eye for detail as you process payments, reconcile bank statements, and manage customer accounts. You'll need strong analytical skills to identify payment errors and work collaboratively across teams to enhance our processes for better efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate processing of payment methods like EFTs and cheque deposits • Generate reports and inquiries through banking portals • Apply cash accurately based on remittance advice • Investigate and correct payment discrepancies promptly • Review unapplied cash and maintain account balances
Requirements: • 1-3 years in Cash Applications or similar finance roles • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems • Solid organizational and analytical skills • Excellent communication abilities • Post-secondary education in business or finance
