At Shelwin House, passionate individuals are encouraged to apply for the role of casual Support Worker. You'll play a crucial role in supporting residents while maintaining safety and helping with light housekeeping tasks. Availability can fluctuate each week, making room for versatile scheduling and the possibility of advancing to part-time or full-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and respect residents of the shelter
• Engage in light housekeeping responsibilities
• Communicate clearly with both residents and team members
• Be available for shifts on short notice
• Create a positive and safe shelter environment
Requirements:
• Training in family violence dynamics preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license
• Flexibility in working various shifts required
• Valid Criminal Record Check needed
