Impact lives as a Therapeutic Recreation Aide with the City of Windsor. In this part time role, you'll develop programs that foster well-being and community engagement for residents.
This role reports to Huron Lodge's Manager of Resident Services, focusing on resident-centric therapeutic activities. You will design both individual and group programs to ensure residents maintain or improve their quality of life. Regular assessments and quarterly updates are key responsibilities for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities: • Organize recreation programs for residents' needs • Conduct assessments to generate individualized care plans • Update care documentation on a quarterly basis • Collaborate with other health professionals for care • Assist residents during community outings
Requirements: • Two-year diploma in a relevant field or equivalent • Minimum one year of Long-Term Care experience • Valid Class 'G' Driver’s License essential • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
