Job Description / Duties
This is a client-focused insurance advisor position that blends relationship management, policy servicing, sales, and administrative responsibilities to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients by assisting with their insurance needs in person, by phone, and by email.
- Manage policy renewals by reviewing coverage, identifying opportunities to enhance protection, and supporting client retention through proactive service.
- Respond to new business inquiries from walk-in, phone, and website leads by assessing client needs, preparing quotations and proposals, and issuing new policies through insurer portals.
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on Personal Lines insurance products while identifying opportunities to better meet clients' insurance needs.
- Support Autopac and Travel Health Insurance transactions and inquiries as required.
- Maintain accurate policy documentation and ensure timely processing of client requests and policy changes.
- Collaborate with team members and insurance company partners to deliver efficient, accurate, and client-focused service.
Currently hiring for our Elizabeth Road location.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of recent Personal Lines insurance brokerage experience required. The successful candidate must be able to confidently manage renewals, current business, and policy servicing with minimal training.
- Level 1 or Level 2 General Insurance License
- Working knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and insurer portals.
- Experience processing Autopac transactions, with a strong understanding of the IWS system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word.
- Experience with Applied Epic is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
