Quebec, permanent position, primarily in-person

Do you want to take on a leadership role where financial operations are well-structured and where your true value lies in analysis, strategy, and continuous improvement?

A Quebec organization in the professional services sector is looking for someone capable of fully taking charge of its finance function, supporting management in its decisions, and mobilizing an experienced accounting team.

Your Role You will report directly to the general management and work closely with members of the senior management team. You will present your financial analyses to the board of directors and contribute to the decisions that guide the organization.

The daily accounting tasks are handled by a structured team. Your mandate will mainly be to understand the numbers, identify the issues, and help the organization improve its performance.

Your Main Responsibilities

Analyze the financial and operational performance of various business sectors

Produce clear recommendations to support management decisions

Define relevant performance indicators and develop monitoring tools

Oversee accounting, financial, and risk management activities

Mobilize, support, and develop the accounting team

Strengthen internal controls and improve existing practices

Participate in the organization’s strategic and technological projects

Optimize processes to improve the efficiency and quality of financial information

Monitor issues related to billing, accounts receivable,



and collection timelines

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent training

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in accounting

Minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel management

Concrete experience in financial analysis and strategic support

Proficient in French, both spoken and written

Advanced English, both spoken and written, necessary for certain professional interactions

Mobilizing leadership, judgment, and ease of communication

Autonomy, rigor, and ability to set priorities

Strong interest in technology and process improvement

The CPA title is an asset, as is experience in implementing an accounting system.
