Enhance your skills as a Physiotherapy Assistant with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Join our Brain Injury Rehab Team in a temporary full-time role dedicated to helping children recover through specialized care and support.

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to implement rehabilitation programs tailored to client needs. You'll administer exercises, manage equipment, and assist clients in their daily activities while documenting their progress. Your contributions will help create an inclusive environment that prioritizes both emotional and physical health.

Key Responsibilities:



• Implement therapy plans designed by therapists for clients • Facilitate equipment usage and instruct families/support staff • Assist clients with transfers and daily activities • Maintain treatment spaces and documentation • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements: • Completion of an OTA/PTA accredited diploma program • Previous experience with pediatric populations is preferred • Solid ability to communicate within teams • Ability to manage fluctuating clinical responsibilities • Initiative in self-direction and cleaning protocols
