This role will play a critical part in driving profitability, improving operational performance, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, business-minded, and experienced in a multi-division or complex retail environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial analysis and reporting forvarious distinct retail divisions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate goalsDevelop and managebudgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plansAnalyze sales, franchise sales, margin, inventory, labor, and operating expenses to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesPartner with division leaders to supportstrategic initiatives, new store openings, promotions, and cost-optimization effortsPreparevarious journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, allocations, reclasses,



and month-end close adjustmentsPreparemonthly and quarterly financial performance reviewsfor senior managementBuild and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business decisionsImprove financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity across divisionsParticipate in special projects as requiredRequirementsDesignated accountantStrong knowledge of IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the organizationSelf-starter with robust organizational and time management skillsExperience in the skilled trades industry considered assetOracle (Fusion) experience is an assetCompensationThe salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, inclusive of PSP (Profit Sharing Plan).Additional InformationArtificial Intelligence (AI) Use: Leon's may use AI tools to support the recruitment and selection process (e.G., screening resumes, scheduling interviews).
