Our client is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist to support their Investor's Edge team. This individual will play a key role in managing vendor relationships, coordinating contract lifecycle activities, supporting third-party risk and governance processes, and driving process improvements across the vendor management function.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in vendor management, procurement, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated environment.
What You'll Do
Manage vendor contracts from intake through execution, renewal, and ongoing portfolio management
Support a portfolio of 30+ third-party vendors across market data, research, technology, and professional services
Coordinate third-party risk assessment (TPRA) activities and ensure compliance with procurement standards
Maintain centralized contract and vendor documentation, including NDAs, RFIs, RFPs, onboarding documents, invoices, and agreements
Partner with procurement teams on vendor onboarding, pricing negotiations, contract amendments, and renewals
Liaise with risk, legal, audit, governance, finance, operations, and product stakeholders throughout the contracting lifecycle
Coordinate approvals and contract reviews across multiple business partners
Monitor vendor performance, upcoming renewals, and contract expirations
Contribute to vendor scorecards, budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
Support market data audits and documentation requirements with external vendors and exchanges
Research industry trends, vendor offerings, and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier management, procurement, or contract lifecycle management
Experience supporting procurement governance and vendor onboarding processes
Experience coordinating or supporting Third Party Risk Assessments (TPRA)
Strong project coordination and organizational skills
Experience tracking multiple contracts, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent documentation management and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using TPRA platforms such as Archer, Coupa Risk Assess, or similar tools
Experience with procurement systems and workflows
Previous experience within a financial institution, wealth management, brokerage, or banking environment
Experience working with market data, research, or technology vendors
Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, JIRA, or other project management methodologies
