As a Metal Coating Technician, you will focus on prepping components such as crankshafts under strict repair guidelines. Your role encompasses operating Thermal Spray Equipment and employing precision measuring tools. Candidates must have machine shop or welding experience and the capability to work in challenging conditions while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare parts for application of Thermal Spray • Operate and maintain Thermal Spray Equipment • Measure components accurately for effective repairs • Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisors • Follow all safety standards and comply with policies
Requirements: • Six months in Wage Grade 3 or above required • Preferred experience in welding, machine, or grinding environments • Ability to work safely in high-noise settings • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly
