This role involves significant responsibilities such as operating snowplow trucks and performing arduous tasks like pothole repair and bridge cleaning. You will be required to work in all weather conditions, handle night shifts, and be available for on-call duties. Your skillset will significantly benefit the maintenance of Alberta's highways every season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment for highway maintenance
• Assist in crack sealing and pothole repairs
• Maintain cleanliness of bridges and signage
• Work outdoors across diverse weather elements
• Be on-call and perform shift work as needed
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
• Clear three-year driving record
• Completion of pre-employment drug testing
• Experience using snowplow trucks an asset
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working varied hours
