This role is open to candidates across Egis Office locations including Hamilton, GTA, Ottawa Job Description We are looking for an Environmental Engineer - Geoscientist to join the growing Environmental team. In this role, you will: Environmental support and coordination pertaining to major infrastructure projects across Ontario, primarily focused on excess soils management and/or hydrogeology; Manage/coordinate geo-environmental projects, including but not limited to:



Excess Soils Projects (APU, SAP, SCR, ESDAR); Hydrogeological Assessments; Phase I and II ESAs; Remediations; Waste Disposal Site Monitoring; and Designated Substance Surveys. Write winning proposals, set and adhere to project budgets; Oversee and provide direction on technical fieldwork, analysis, and reporting; Liaise with high-profile clients to ensure project needs are met on-time and on-budget; Temporary assignment on other high-profile projects, including Pearson Airport LIFT, Hamilton LRT, etc.; Other duties as may be required from time to time. Qualifications Completion of a university degree in Science or Engineering; Licensure as a P.Eng. or P.Geo. in good standing with PEO or PGO; Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in managing or coordinating ESAs, hydrogeology, and/or remediation work; Design skillswith good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Projects, Access, Outlook), Gint and other standard software for reporting, drawing, data analysis and communications; Excellent initiative, a sense of pride in your work, and willingness to support your team; Excellent oral and written communications skills in English (French would be considered an asset); Positive attention to detail, problem solving skills, ability to think creatively and research independently; Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently in the field and in an office setting; Both field and reporting experience in the areas of environmental site assessments, site remediation and hydrogeological studies, including soil and groundwater sampling and field hydraulic conductivity testing; Knowledge with O.
