Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with a solid background in manufacturing. You will maintain general ledgers, assess Bills of Materials, and ensure exact inventory valuations for production. This role requires working with production teams to manage costs effectively and to fulfill bookkeeping responsibilities accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for manufacturing
• Collaborate with production on Bills of Materials
• Track inventory using BOM metrics
• Allocate direct labor and overhead costs accurately
• Investigate discrepancies in production costs
Requirements:
• 2-3 years in a manufacturing bookkeeping role
• Experience with Bills of Materials and costing systems
• Proficient in general ledger and double-entry bookkeeping
• Familiar with ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP
• Advanced Excel skills necessary
