In the role of Food Service I, you will support the Nutrition Food Service team by performing essential duties relating to food preparation. Responsibilities include serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This position involves physical activity throughout the shifts and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare and package food items for patient service • Serve nutritious meals in accordance with AHS protocols • Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen and dining areas • Collaborate on inventory management and minimize waste • Support meal delivery and customer satisfaction efforts

Requirements: • Grade 10 completion or equivalent is necessary • Must be capable of lifting up to 46lbs • Preferred experience in food service and healthcare • Knowledge of food safety and WHMIS is advantageous • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
