Make a difference as a Sobering Centre Support Worker in Campbell River. You will assist guests with their needs during intake and discharge, focusing on safety and empathy.

In this role, you will report to the Program Manager and be responsible for creating a safe environment for clients with substance use and mental health challenges. Your observations and documentation play a vital part in ensuring clients receive needed services and support as they transition through the Sobering and Assessment Centre.

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure a well-ordered environment for guests • Screen and assess client behavior for admittance • Observe and accurately record basic client information • Supply food, blankets, and hygiene items as needed • Prepare light snacks and perform housekeeping duties

Requirements: • Minimum of 3-6 months of relevant experience • CPR-C and First Aid certification required • Food Protected Certificate needed • Criminal Record Check for vulnerable clients • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively
