In the scope of this role, you will report to the Manager/Chief Engineer and oversee high-pressure boilers and other essential machinery. This position requires a robust skill set with a minimum three years of experience in a related steam plant environment, and a valid Manitoba Third Class Power Engineer's Certificate as a prerequisite for effective job performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain high pressure boilers and refrigeration compressors
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with Chief Engineer
• Ensure plant operates safely and efficiently




• Help with on-site maintenance tasks as needed
• Contribute to plant energy solutions and system efficiency
Requirements:
• At least three years’ experience in steam plant operations
• A valid Manitoba Third Class Power Engineer's Certificate
• High school education following Manitoba Standards
• Knowledge in instrumentation and industrial controls preferred
• Ability to enforce protected work practices in high-risk environments
