In this Estimator role with Kendrix Technologies, you’ll work alongside our Sales team to produce cost estimates for comprehensive security and cabling projects. This role demands attention to detail and collaboration among various departments, ensuring that each proposal aligns with project scopes and client expectations while promoting efficiency in bid processes.
Key Responsibilities: • Analyze drawings and specifications for accurate budgets • Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Lead development of timely bid proposals with inputs from teams • Negotiate pricing terms to ensure project profitability • Maintain vendor and subcontractor pricing records
Requirements: • 1–3 years’ experience in estimating or technical sales • Relevant degree in electronics or technical field • Solid skills in Microsoft Office and estimating applications • Excellent communication and organization skills • Experience with structured cabling or electronic hardware preferred
