Help maintain public hygiene as an Auxiliary Custodial Worker for Esquimalt Parks and Recreation, ensuring clean and secure spaces in community facilities.

In this role, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you will engage in routine cleaning across key locations such as the Esquimalt Recreation Centre and Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include monitoring cleanliness, disinfecting various areas, and setting up spaces for programs. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct regular cleaning and disinfecting of facilities • Monitor and service washrooms and public areas • Clean hallways and stairwells effectively • Set up and prepare rooms for community events • Safely handle and use cleaning materials

Requirements: • High School Graduation is required • Current Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License needed • Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check • Experience in cleaning or custodial services an asset • Ability to work independently and efficiently
