Fabricator/Assemblers

to join a leading elevator manufacturing company in Burlington, ON. We're looking for mechanically inclined individuals with fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing experience who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in producing quality products.

This role involves fabricating, fitting and assembling metal components, working from blueprints, and using a variety of hand and power tools in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule Day Shift:

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Afternoon Shift:

3:00 PM/3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (+$1/hr shift premium)

All candidates will complete approximately 3-4 weeks of training on the day shift before transitioning to their assigned shift.

What You'll Be Doing

Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications

Perform assembly‑line and production assembly work

Complete light welding, tack welding, and spot welding when required

Use grinders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, and other hand and power tools

Grind, sand, and finish components to quality standards

Inspect completed assemblies for fit, alignment, and quality

Follow safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Record production information using computerized systems as needed

What We're Looking For





2+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly

Experience reading blueprints, drawings, or technical instructions

Hands‑on experience with fabrication and assembly of metal components

Comfortable using hand and power tools such as grinders and drills

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment

Ability to work the afternoon shift after completing training

Nice to Have

MIG, TIG, spot, or tack welding experience

Experience in elevator, structural steel, automotive, HVAC, or similar manufacturing environments

Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures

Welding or fabrication‑related education or certifications
