Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation Operate heavy equipment Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Use International Organization for Standardization (ISO) pattern joystick controls Use Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) controls pattern Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS) Complete onboard and other logs Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Prepare accident reports Secure special attachments to equipment Perform minor repairs to equipment Benefits
