The successful candidate will maintain, clean, and prepare facilities and equipment for the Recreation Services Division. This includes performing minor repairs, managing service contractor interactions, and assisting with overall facility upkeep. This temporary, part-time union role is expected to require 8-16 hours weekly until December 31, 2026, with potential for early conclusion or extension based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness across recreation facilities
• Conduct minor repairs and upkeep tasks




• Serve as point of contact for service contractors
• Assist in the preparation of facilities and equipment
• Support regular cleaning schedules and maintenance
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• 1-2 years related experience preferred
• Building Services Worker certificate needed
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License mandatory
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered
