Join SAGKEENG CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES as a Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to improving communication for children and adolescents. This full time position offers a chance to engage with a creative multi-disciplinary team focused on therapeutic excellence.
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. You will assess speech and swallowing disorders, develop treatment plans, and coach both clients and families. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, particularly within First Nations contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct SLP assessments for children
• Evaluate communication and swallowing difficulties
• Develop effective treatment and coaching plans
• Provide live coaching in classroom settings
• Liaise with families on treatment progress
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CASLPM registration or eligibility
• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Working experience with First Nations
• Knowledge of specialized testing equipment
