As a Driver, you will be essential in collecting and distributing food from donors to the community. This full time role requires adaptability, a positive demeanor, and skills in vehicle operation and inventory management. You'll communicate effectively with staff and partner organizations to ensure excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive trucks for food transport between locations
• Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance
• Load and organize deliveries efficiently
• Assist with inventory management and quality checks
• Help train and support new drivers in the team
Requirements:
• BC Class 5 clean driving license; Class 3 is a plus
• Minimum 1 year experience with industrial machinery
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work variable hours including weekends
• Capacity to lift heavy items regularly
