Lead the design, development, implementation, communication, and administration of total rewards programs Provide subject matter expertise and support on compensation-related matters Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders on complex organizational design Complete complex job evaluations using established methodology Review benchmark market data and recommend job classifications Assist with position profile development and job leveling/grading Complete compensation and best-practice benchmarking surveys Research and analyze salary surveys and compensation market trends Design and recommend salary range structures and costing scenarios Participate in incentive plan design and work directly with business leaders Calculate year-end and/or executive incentives and ensure commissions follow plan provisions Lead annual compensation planning processes Analyze and cost scenarios, develop processes, tools, guidelines, and communications Conduct final reviews and audits of company-wide compensation recommendations Perform modeling, costing, reporting, and analysis of compensation-related data Evaluate and recommend changes to total rewards programs Collaborate with Finance and leaders to monitor, audit, and evaluate incentive plans Lead variable compensation plans, recognition/reward programs, and related initiatives Act as backup to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field required Completion of Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) an asset 5 years progressive HR/compensation experience Experience conducting job evaluations and participating in evaluation meetings to present and defend recommendations and findings Participation in year-end activities such as merit,
performance management, and incentive calculations Familiarity with unionized job evaluation processes and programs is an asset Ability to prioritize and manage multiple timelines Ability to discern critical information Attention to detail Customer service to internal clients Exceptional oral and written communication, decision-making, and influencing skills Advanced knowledge/comprehension of job evaluation Project management experience in rewards program design and implementation Understanding of risk and risk ownership, with adherence to policies and procedures Core Competencies
