A leading manufacturer in the electrical systems industry is seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer in the greater Toronto area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead EMC/EMI compliance activities , including design reviews, requirements, control plans, specifications, test plans, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct and oversee EMC testing in laboratory and field environments; review test results and develop corrective solutions for EMC-related issues.
- Apply and enforce EMC design standards and guidelines across products and subsystems, while developing improved processes, tools, and engineering practices.
- Collaborate across engineering, design, signaling, and testing teams to identify and resolve EMC challenges.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering , ideally with an EMI/EMC specialization; P.Eng. certification or progress toward certification preferred.
- 5+ years of EMI/EMC engineering experience in railway, automotive, aerospace, defense, or similar industries; experience with high-voltage traction/power environments is highly desirable.
