Airswift is currently seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist join our client's team on a permanent basis in either Edmonton or Calgary. Our client is a major EPC multinational operating in various Energy, Process and Infrastructure-type projects and they are currently looking to add to their Field Construction Business Unit. This position will be sitting in their offices with some traveling to site as needed but Field Construction experience is a must have for this chance. This Senior Specialist will have a hands-on role as well as a mentoring role.ResponsibilitiesOverall coordination and management of project controls activities i.E. Cost Control, Management of Change, Forecasting, Progressing and Scheduling and Planning on construction projectsEstablish project WBS/CBS and ensure that control applications are set up according to the project controls plan using approved control budget data, project WBS/CBS and appropriate control accounts/cost codesGenerate and update construction progress scorecards and cost reportsVerify and sign-off accuracy of coding on all daily timesheets and provide cost coding on Procurement requisitions and Subcontractor invoicesManage project change management process including development and submission of change proposal for client approval, setup and maintenance of Change logGuide construction planners/schedulers in the development and maintenance of resource loaded project scheduleExtensive site project controls experience on Lumpsum,
