In this position, you'll be responsible for optimizing inventory and supporting maintenance operations at the mill. A strategic approach toward purchasing and relationships with suppliers will be key to your success. Your experience in inventory management combined with solid negotiating skills will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct purchasing for both inventory and operational materials • Maintain accurate inventory levels and audit records • Ensure cost-effective availability of supplies • Drive collaboration across departments for effective service • Oversee the implementation of inventory cycle counting
Requirements: • 3-5+ years in a purchasing environment • Certification in Supply Chain Management preferred • Familiarity with manufacturing contexts • Negotiating experience with suppliers • Forklift operation skills a plus
