In this specialist role, support HSE compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.As an HSE Specialist, you will work closely with the Manager of HSE ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities will include developing HSE systems and delivering training to staff. Collaborate with business leaders, manage incident investigations, and drive improvements in safety performance.Key Responsibilities:- Implement HSE management systems including ISO and COR standards- Conduct audits, inspections, and follow up on corrective actions- Support environmental programs such as waste management and spill response- Train and communicate HSE policies to the team- Manage incident reporting and investigations effectivelyRequirements:- Minimum 5 years HSE experience in construction- Post-secondary education in Health & Safety or Environment- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations- Familiarity with COR and ISO standards- Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office SuiteDrive safety improvements and enhance compliance culture as a Health and Safety Specialist at GDI Ainsworth.#J-18808-Ljbffr
