We are looking for a reliable and energetic Bakery Assistant to work closely with our bakers and storefront team. This role involves measuring ingredients, preparing dough, and ensuring a clean workspace. You'll package and display mouth-watering pastries that our community loves.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help with dough preparation and shaping baked items
• Package and label pastries for front-of-house sales
• Keep inventory updated and notify management when low
• Uphold food safety and sanitation across all areas
• Assist storefront staff by restocking and welcoming guests
Requirements:
• Availability on Tuesday – Sunday from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Previous experience in a bakery is a plus
• Ability to lift and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Food Secure Level 1 is an asset
