As a Child Advocate, you will provide critical support to children and youth attending Boost CYAC during their investigative processes. The role involves rotating shifts, combining day and evening hours, and requires a strong understanding of trauma and crisis management. Collaboration with various professionals will ensure a holistic service approach for clients.

Key Responsibilities:



• Educate and support families during investigative processes • Welcome families and provide facility tours • Conduct on-site and virtual check-ins for families experiencing stress • Implement crisis intervention strategies in collaboration with the team • Assist in court preparation and offer legal support

Requirements: • Degree in Social Work or comparable field • Minimum three years' relevant experience supporting trauma victims • Proficient in anti-oppressive, culturally responsive services • Robust awareness of trauma types and systemic issues • Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Screening
