TRP is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to support the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension in Toronto. Utilize Revit and Civil 3D to develop essential 3D models and 2D drawings for infrastructure.
In this role, you will produce BIM models that meet project specifications for civil infrastructure and station components. Close collaboration with engineers and survey teams will ensure accurate integration of survey data into models. Maintain organized files within Autodesk Construction Cloud while adhering to BIM standards for quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed BIM models and drawings for station infrastructure • Translate engineering designs and survey data into accurate representations • Support project estimation with model-based quantity generation • Ensure proper version control of project files • Collaborate with project stakeholders for effective documentation
Requirements: • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field • Experience as a CAD Technician with a focus on BIM • Expertise in Revit and Civil 3D • Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud preferred • Attention to detail and model accuracy
