Support healthy child development as an Early Childhood Assistant at Mothercraft in York Heights, North York. This full time role focuses on creating stimulating environments for children aged 3 months to 4 years.
At Mothercraft, we value excellence in child care and education. You'll assist in meeting children's emotional and physical needs while working alongside a dedicated team of educators. Your role is vital in implementing culturally sensitive programs and fostering positive relationships. Split shift availability is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in caring for children's needs
• Develop positive relationships with young children
• Collaborate on program planning and implementation




• Maintain communication with families and staff
• Ensure safety in the children's environment
Requirements:
• One year experience with children preferred
• Early Childhood Assistant certification is an asset
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Standard First Aid & CPR C certification needed
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
