This role blends traditional plant engineering responsibilities, including equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance coordination, with a growing analytics and automation mandate. In this role, you will help turn field observations and operating data into practical improvements that increase asset availability, reduce downtime, improve reporting, and support better operational decisions across a growing renewable energy portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesField and EquipmentTroubleshoot equipment and control system issues across run-of-river hydro, solar, wind, and battery storage facilitiesPerform root cause analysis on equipment failures and performance deviations, and see corrective actions through to closureCoordinate maintenance activities with site personnel and third-party service providersHold OEMs and contractors accountable to scope, schedule, warranty terms, and quality of workSupport outage planning and execution, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and return to servicePerformance and ReportingUse historian and SCADA data to investigate events, quantify production losses, and support availability reportingMaintain and improve existing dashboards and analytical tools supporting equipment monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysisApply and maintain the fleet's availability and production-loss reporting methodology, and support its continued developmentIdentify opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort and improve data accuracyIdentify operational changes that could improve asset financial performance,
