Join the City of Beaumont’s forward-thinking Fire Services team as a Firefighter. This role offers an opportunity to protect the community while utilizing your firefighting skills in a collaborative setting.
In this position, you will respond to a variety of emergencies, maintain firefighting equipment, and assist in the training of Volunteer Firefighters. Your contribution will enhance the operational readiness of the department, ensuring the safety of Beaumont’s residents.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide emergency responses including fire and rescue services • Maintain and inspect firefighting apparatus and equipment • Develop training sessions for aspiring Volunteer Firefighters • Uphold cleanliness and functionality at the fire station • Engage in safety discussions and report hazardous conditions
Requirements: • Completed Grade 12 education or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years continuous fire service experience • Accredited NFPA 1001 Firefighter Levels I-II certification • Standard First Aid and CPR/AED qualification • Clean Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License
