Your MissionYou will play an important role in a dynamic and passionate team, collaborating on a variety of projects of all sizes and scopes in the environment, renewable energies, hydroelectricity, transportation, materials, buildings and climate change markets. Boldness, innovation and collaboration are an integral part of our daily operations.Your Main ResponsibilitiesApply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules; Cost estimating and proposal preparation for geotechnical investigations and field programs; Responsiblefor project management, planning and delivery of geotechnical investigations and soil mechanics analysis for engineering studies for:deep and shallow foundations (static, seismic and dynamic machine loadings); Infrastructure (current and replacements, including sewer and watermains, pipelines, telecommunication towers, highways, bridges, railways); Slope and earth structure stability, tailings dams, stormwater control facilities, in-situ testing; Settlement analyses; Prepare andwritetechnical engineering reports; Project client coordination and project delivery, budget and schedule control; Construction inspection and laboratory testing; You will also play a key role on the engineering team providing leadership and mentoring of both technical staff and junior engineers; Business Development, client liaison and management.What Makes You UniqueUniversity degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering (Masters' degree an asset); Completion of advanced or specialized university courses in geotechnical engineering and foundation engineering an asset; 6+ years ofsolidGeotechnical engineering experience; Experience in geotechnical related work such as site investigations, design of deep and shallow foundations,
slope stability and on-site review of construction activities (asset); Current registration with MTO's RAQs for foundations and/or tunneling disciplines an asset; Registration withPEO; Fluent English, written and spoken; Valid Ontario driver's licence in good standing; Authorization to work in Canada; Demonstrated ability that you are well organized, show initiative and can manage a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians; Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.What Makes Englobe UniqueAt Englobe, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects of every size and scope. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost‐of‐living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good‐faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit.
