310T/421A Heavy Equipment Service Truck MechanicCustom Concrete (Timmins)Custom Concrete (Northern) provides construction products and mining services across northern Ontario.PositionCustom Concrete Northern has an immediate opening for a permanent, full-time 310T/421A / Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The weekly schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.M. to 5:00 p.M.Duties/ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, test, adjust, and repair systems of heavy‑duty vehicles.Schedule daily inspections on production equipment.Examine, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment.Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services according to manufacturer’s specifications.Perform emergency road repairs as required.Submit records of repairs and preventative maintenance to Fleet Administrators.Complete reports to record problems and daily workload.Track hours and service intervals on all equipment.Troubleshoot, service and repair defects on sites.Perform maintenance as per assigned work orders.Welding/torching and cutting ability required.Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.Complete major and minor repairs.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be a 310T licensed truck and coach.Minimum 2 years’ experience is required.Physically fit,



with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a regular basis.Must be able to handle the physical demands of a job that’s in a high‑risk workplace.Must be able to work outside and in all weather conditions.Must be able to possibly work long hours as required (including weekends or holidays).Must be able to fulfill our schedule needs as listed.Must be able to troubleshoot and repair problems of general and advanced nature.Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of engine repair, mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance is required.Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.BenefitsCompensation: up to $50.00 per hour based on experience.Health and dental coverage after 3 months.Retirement savings plan after 1 year, employer matches up to 5%.Opportunity for growth.Working ConditionsWorking conditions are conducive with a typical garage environment; must be comfortable with extensive physical labour demands and working with high‑risk materials/products.
