Fort McKay Group of Companies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Dozer Operator at the Syncrude MLX Site, north of Fort McMurray. Operate dozers safely and efficiently while supporting project goals.
This position reports to the Project Team Lead and involves maintaining equipment, conducting inspections, and operating dozers for various tasks including grading, ditching, and terrain modification. Candidates should possess solid equipment operation skills and be able to work well within a team. Safety is a priority, necessitating adherence to all safety protocols and policies throughout your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain dozer safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and walk-around inspections
• Perform grading, ditching,



and reclamation tasks
• Maintain safety by adhering to PPE requirements
• Assist Labourers and other Operators as required
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid class 5 driver’s license required
• 3+ years of dozer operation experience preferred
• CSTS and OSSA or BSO or CSO certification needed
• Ability to read, write, and speak English required
