As a Heavy Equipment Operator under the direction of the Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently operate an excavator on site. You will need 2-4 years of experience in mining or civil construction, a valid class five driver's license, and knowledge of safety regulations like CSTS. Your role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards while participating in team meetings and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavator to move various materials safely
• Conduct daily equipment checks and basic maintenance




• Accept and follow instructions, adjusting to site conditions
• Participate in toolbox meetings for safety improvement
• Perform any additional assigned duties as needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid class five driver’s license with 3 year Drivers Abstract
• At least 2-4 years heavy equipment operating experience
• CSTS and OSSA certification required
• Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
