Our family is moving from the US to Oakville in early September, and we're looking for an organized, reliable house manager to help our household run smoothly. This role is a mix of home management and after-school child care for our kids, ages 3-5. We need someone proactive who can keep things tidy, stocked, and running well, while also being a warm, steady presence for our children in the afternoons.

About the Role

- Type: Part-time, live-out (afternoon hours)
- Start date: Mid-September 2026
- Pay: $25/hour, negotiable based on qualifications

Core Responsibilities

- Housekeeping: laundry, tidying, and general upkeep of the home
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Occasional meal preparation
- School pick-ups and after-school child minding - helping kids settle in, wind down, and transition into evening activities




- Caring for our friendly, senior dog

We value someone who is kind, dependable, detail-oriented and able to anticipate what the household needs and take initiative without being asked. Experience caring for young children is significant, and a background in childcare or early childhood education is a plus, but this role leans more toward household management than full-time nannying. Not required, but a bonus: fluency in Japanese, French, or Tagalog.
