In this key role, you will assist the Executive Director by providing expert legal counsel and operational support, contributing significantly to high-stakes investigations within Alberta. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced legal support for ASIRT investigations • Advise on criminal law and evidence protocols • Analyze cases for Crown prosecution preparation • Develop investigative legal frameworks and procedures • Liaise with legal stakeholders to align interpretations
Requirements: • Relevant law degree; admission to Alberta Law Society • Over eight years in criminal law practice • Expertise in criminal investigative techniques • Proven skills in negotiation and conflict resolution • Exceptional judgment and analytical skills
