Job Description As part of its operations at Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James, ARAMARK is currently seeking a 3rd Cook.

Aramark offers 15 days on / 13 days off rotation schedule.

Transportation is provided by airplane from the Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda airports.

Employees are provided with meals and accommodation in a private room. Washer and dryer facilities are available on site.

Position: 3rd Cook

Location: Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James

Salary: $24.72/hour

The salary will be increased in accordance with the applicable collective agreement upon completion of the 300-hour probation period.

Schedule The schedule is 70 hours per week. After 55 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.

Job Responsibilities

Cook and prepare various food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.

Prepare the daily menu.

Be able to meet operational requirements.

Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, and others.

Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.

Clean and maintain the work area.

Qualifications

Culinary diploma (DEP) preferred or equivalent experience.

One to two years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.

Solid culinary foundation is an asset.

Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.

MAPAQ certification.





Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.

Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.
