Join Meewasin Valley Authority as a Capacity Building Coordinator based in Saskatoon. Spearhead learning and training initiatives to bolster prescribed fire capacity across Prairie Provinces.

This temporary full time position requires a university diploma and 3-5 years of relevant experience. As the coordinator, you will engage with a variety of partners, including fire departments and local municipalities, enhancing community capacity in prescribed fire practices. This pivotal role will develop integrative pathways for training, mentorship, and peer exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead the development of training and mentorship programs • Foster collaboration with Indigenous communities and organizations • Integrate experiential learning with formal training frameworks • Mentor and guide capacity-building support staff • Oversee operational readiness of training resources

Requirements: • University diploma required • 3-5 years of relevant experience in program coordination • Proven ability to engage with diverse community partners • Solid leadership and organizational skills • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and practices
