Job Responsibilities

- Perform standard engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specification preparation, field-task execution, and field-problem resolution
- Receive assistance and instructions on unusual or complex features and possible solutions as needed
- Ensure compliance with government, organizational, and customer engineering standards
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria, making minor adaptations and modifications
- Work on special projects as directed
- Perform other related duties and tasks as required
- Use existing and acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions supporting the product life cycle and replacement of current Framatome technologies
- Participate in resolving technical issues identified by project management, business line management, or customers to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
- Maintain a safety mindset

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Engineering
- Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
- Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively within a team environment




- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Exposure to CAD modeling and computer programming skills
- Applicants requiring access to export-controlled information must satisfy U.S. and applicable home-country compliance requirements
- Successful completion of a background screening
